1. Without doubt, it is all too easy for imperfect humans to bow to peer pressure, perverting justice.

इसमें शक नहीं कि असिद्ध इंसान आसानी से साथियों के दबाव में आकर गलत न्याय कर बैठते हैं।

2. It destroys relationships, they claim, demeans women, abuses children, and engenders a perverted and harmful view of sex.

उनका मानना है कि इससे रिश्ते टूट जाते हैं, औरतों को ज़लील किया जाता है, बच्चे हवस का शिकार होते हैं, और लैंगिक संबंधों के बारे में बिलकुल घिनौनी और भारी नुकसान पहुँचानेवाली सोच पैदा होती है।

3. 19 You must not pervert justice,+ show partiality,+ or accept a bribe, for the bribe blinds the eyes of the wise+ and distorts the words of the righteous.

19 तुम गलत फैसला सुनाकर अन्याय न करना,+ न किसी का पक्ष लेना+ और न ही किसी से रिश्वत लेना, क्योंकि रिश्वत एक बुद्धिमान इंसान को भी अंधा कर सकती है+ और एक नेक इंसान से भी झूठ बुलवा सकती है।

4. How is a king to render sound and clear-headed judgment and not “forget what is decreed and pervert the cause of any of the sons of affliction” if he is constantly intoxicated? —Proverbs 31:4-7.

अगर एक राजा हमेशा ही शराब के नशे में चूर रहता है तो क्या हम उम्मीद कर सकते हैं कि वह अपने होशो-हवास में रहकर कोई सही फैसला कर पाएगा? और क्या यह भी उम्मीद की जा सकती है कि वह ‘व्यवस्था को [नहीं] भूलेगा और किसी दुःखी के हक़ को न मारेगा?’—नीतिवचन 31:4-7.

5. And all that cfight against Zion shall be destroyed, and that great whore, who hath perverted the right ways of the Lord, yea, that great and abominable church, shall tumble to the ddust and great shall be the fall of it.
